This covers harakka.app and the waitlist. Before anyone is let into Harakka itself, a full policy for the service will be published here.
Who is responsible
Harakka is made by Martin Heijkenskjöld in Stockholm, Sweden, who is responsible for your data. Questions go to hello@harakka.app.
What is saved when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- How you'd like to run Harakka, if you answer.
- Whether you came through someone's share link, and whose.
- Whether you arrived directly, from another site or through a share link.
- When you signed up.
Nothing else. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Your own browser remembers the address you signed up with, so the page can show that you're already on the list. "Use another address" clears it.
Why
To email you about Harakka - early access, the launch and the occasional product update - and to let people who share their link in sooner. The legal basis is your consent when you sign up, and you can withdraw it at any time.
How long
Until you leave the list. When the waitlist is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Who handles it for Harakka
- Supabase - the database, in the EU (Ireland).
- Railway - the servers, in the EU (the Netherlands). Their request logs keep IP addresses for a short time for security and troubleshooting.
- Resend - sends the emails. Resend is a US company, so your address is processed in the US when Harakka writes to you, under Resend's data processing agreement.
- Google Fonts - the typefaces on this site are loaded from Google, which sees your IP address when the page loads.
Your data is never sold, and never shared with anyone other than these services.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete what is saved about you, and withdraw your consent. The quickest way to leave the list is to reply to the confirmation email - your address is deleted right away. For anything else, write to hello@harakka.app.
If you think your data is handled wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
