Terms

The short version: it's your memory, you can take it with you at any time, and Harakka is a small service run by one person, so it comes without big-company guarantees.

Who you have an agreement with

Harakka is run by Martin Heijkenskjöld, a sole trader in Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: hello@harakka.app. Swedish law applies.

Your account

Your content

What you store in Harakka is yours. Harakka only uses it to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can download everything at any time under Settings, as plain text and files.

What you can't do

If an account breaks these rules, it can be suspended or closed. Unless it's urgent, for example an attack on the service, you'll be told first and given the chance to download your data.

Plans and payment

Harakka is free while it's in early access. If paid plans are introduced, you'll be told what they cost and what's included before anything is charged, and you can keep or export your memory either way.

No guarantees

Harakka is provided as it is. It is built with care, and your data is backed up and kept apart from other accounts, but there is no promise that the service is always available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose; "Download everything" is there for that. To the extent the law allows, Harakka is not liable for indirect losses, and total liability is limited to what you've paid in the last twelve months.

If Harakka shuts down

You'll get at least 30 days' notice by email, and your data can be downloaded during that time. After that, it is deleted.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be told by email at least 14 days before the change applies. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time under Settings. That ends the agreement, and your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
